How to Get Away with Murder“How to Get Away with Murder” is a serial legal drama series scheduled to debut on ABC September 25, 2014. The show was created by ShondaLand’s writer Peter Nowalk, executively produced by Shonda Rhimes, and distributed by ABC Studios. According to critics, this new series is expected to be a huge hit in a long lineup of other new 2014-2015 shows.

“How to Get Away with Murder” will air on Thursday nights at 10:00 pm and in the show, Viola Davis is a law professor teaching at a very prestigious university in Philadelphia. While there, she and her students become entwined in a murder plot. In addition to Davis taking the lead role, the series will star other great actors such as Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Liza Weil, Charlie Weber, Karla Souza, Jack Falahee, Alfred Enoch, Billy Brown, Katie Findlay, Tom Verica, Alysia Reiner, and Ana Ortiz.

All of the supporting cast members are seasoned actors, which will bring depth and integrity to the show. For instance, Aja Naomi King starred in “Black Box”, Ana Ortiz was in “Devious Minds”, and Liza Weil from “Scandal”.

The original concept of “How to Get Away with Murder” was presented to ABC in August 2013. With exceptional writing by Grey’s Anatomy supervising producer, Peter Nowalk, the pilot was ordered in December. Then in May 2014, ABC picked up the pilot for a 2014-2015 television season series. Filming for the first episode of the show took place in Philadelphia and Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
