Shaolin Temple 3D Being Remade

justin_linGreat news for moviegoers – a remake of Shaolin Temple 3D is being done and expected to hit movies sometime in the future. Written by Andrew Dominik, the genius behind the making of “The Assassination of Jesse James” and “Killing Them Softly”, this movie is expected to be a huge success. To create a masterpiece, Dominik is said to be teaming up with Justin Lin who directed the “Fast Five” and “Fast and Furious 6”.

The first film featured the amazing talent of martial artist, Jet Li, and was based on Shaolin folklore on a small scale. While this movie covered the transition period of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, insiders say the second movie, Shaolin Temple 3D is different. For this film the Tang em+peror is betrayed by one of his most trusted generals. In support of the emperor, a slave escapes the temple on a journey to train in Kung Fu and ultimately, kill the traitor.

Reportedly, the budget for this film is approximately $100 million and with money like that, there should be no shortage of powerful stars and high-tech feats. Along with Li, Shaolin Temple 3D will star Jessica Chastain. Of course, Dominik has the unrivaled ability to create unique characters capable of telling a story exactly as written. Although no release date has been published, filming is expected to start near the end of the year.

Based on the talent involved, public interest in martial arts, an incredible budget, and a successful predecessor, experts agree believe Shaolin Temple 3D will be yet another big box office hit.
